Wedding Photos With Digital Cameras
Taking wedding photos with digital cameras is a great option to capture the memories of your special day. Here are some things to think about.
There is no other day like your wedding day and it can be over so quickly but by having photographs means you can treasure each moment of it forever; taking wedding photos with digital cameras has changed how wedding photographers can carry out their work ensuring the day is captured on disk. Looking at an image captured during the wedding or reception can bring the memories back more than watching a DVD!
This isn’t easy; creating that perfect shot if you are taking photographs without help as there is only so much you can do on your own without help. Here are some tips if you find yourself at a friend or relations wedding taking photos with digital cameras.
Most importantly try to ensure you don’t have poor background scenery and that there aren’t too many people in the shot. Often the couple is in the thick of a crowd and at this point it may be easier to try and capture just their head and shoulders.
If there is bright sunlight or you are using flash, ask guests who are wearing glasses to remove them just for the shot or as an alternative they could turn their head slightly to the side. If there is someone in the group that you particularly want to take a photograph of but they are in a crowd then try using the zoom, it will give a good close-up that you wouldn’t achieve any other way.
Where possible, try to capture shots that are natural and candid as these always look so natural when viewed later; one way to do this is to use the cameras optical zoom. Always be ready for the next digital wedding photograph because you can’t ask people to repeat those unforgettable moments that everybody wants to see again and again.
Your digital camera should be equipped with enough memory to ensure that no great moment is missed, in other words, make sure have an extra memory card especially if you want to preserve as many moments as possible. For any camera with 6 mega pixels or above, you will require at least one gigabyte, preferably two gigabytes of storage space on your card if you intend to use high resolution.
The reason you need to set the cameras resolution to the maximum is because the colors will be richer and if you want to enlarge the photos, it won’t be a problem. Once you have the images it is only a matter of printing out the ones you want and saving all of them on a CD for a permanent storage or presentation.
Photography is an art form that many people try to master, just like painting but how well your digital wedding photography images of the day come out will be down to your passion for photograph. Taking wedding photos with digital cameras will enable you to have great memories at a reasonable cost.
