How to Make Your Wedding Photo Album Shine
Just like many areas of weddings generally, the traditional wedding photo album still has a strong presence in ‘yesteryear’ but things are changing with more modern versions starting to appear. These albums generally have the same conventions and that means that the bride will be the first person you seen inside the cover. This image is then followed by images of the bride and groom together immediately after the ceremony.
It would be unfair and impolite not to show off the whole wedding party in the wedding photo album next especially when they have gone too so much trouble to look their best for the day. The party is normally close friends and relations that play an active part during the ceremony like the father of the bride, the best man, page boys and bridesmaids. The bride has a picture with her attendants just as her mother did so many years before.
The next two sections are those reserved for the groom and his family and then the bride and her family. Wedding photo albums should also have a mention as they need to be as elaborate as the ceremony otherwise they will not do justice to the care which is taken over the photographs. The wedding photo album will probably be a book with an elegant cover in white and the design will usually have wedding bells, rings or bouquets on the cover.
Tradition states that these wedding albums use gold or silver (especially the text) with the photos laid out inside shaped ‘masks’ for added effect. Of course while the tangible album is still popular, that does not mean the wedding photographer and modern technology have not tried to provide an equivalent by allowing the photos to be placed on a cd rom and on dvd’s as well. Most modern couples will have both the traditional album and the newer digital versions together because unlike the former, compact discs etc. can hold hundreds of images.
If guests want to have a copy, they can have all the images and not just their favorite few; these can be stored in presentation boxes for later viewing as a digital wedding photo album. This is a big step forward for the guest who may only have been able to have a few images of the day but can now have any one of them printed. As modern technology allows even the newer digital photo frames will become more commonplace, where photos like this can be viewed at random.
