3 Tips for the Best Wedding Photo Album

Although wedding photo albums currently have much in common with those of the albums of years ago, there are also some more modern photo albums too. You can expect to see similar conventions inside the album as well with the bride taking the first page to show off her dress in all its glory, much the same as it did when her mother was married. Most weddings take place in beautiful places where there is always a special spot for the photographer to take some pictures of the bride and groom together after the service.

Next comes a picture of the entire wedding party all dressed up for the occasion; they will be placed next in the wedding photo album. The party is normally close friends and relations that play an active part during the ceremony like the father of the bride, the best man, page boys and bridesmaids. The bride should then, by tradition, have some pictures taken of her and her attendants for the day.

After this the groom is able to have some photos taken with his family and once this is done the bride will be seen with members of her family. Wedding photo albums are generally large bound examples that contain pictures that are bigger than usual on pages that may be inlaid or embossed. The front face of a wedding photo album will try to be traditional as well with a number of recognized symbols of marriage like bells and horseshoes for example.

Wedding albums are normally a combination of white with silver trim which are the traditional colors associated with weddings with the images arranged in a way to capture attention. Most modern wedding photographers will also be able to supply in ‘digital’ form on a cd or dvd. Every bride and groom should have their photos placed on a disc as they are less likely to be damaged and can be taken anywhere and displayed on large screens if required.

These are easily sent to the guests so everyone gets a copy, and the computer discs are much easier to store than the traditional wedding photo albums. This is a big step forward for the guest who may only have been able to have a few images of the day but can now have any one of them printed. This is a very versatile method of distributing images that will last for many years.
